Experience & Education
Fordham University, where I earned my Master’s in Social Work in 2010, equipped me with a Clinical Concentration and a Specialization in Social Work & the Law. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family, Youth & Community Sciences in 2008. In addition to my academic qualifications, I hold my LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) certification, which reflects my professional training and expertise. Moreover, I possess a School Social Work Certification and am SIFI Certified (Seminar in Field Placement), which further enhances my ability to support individuals in various settings.
I have extensive experience as a social worker across all five boroughs and in Long Island. I can provide a detailed resume upon request. Since 2008, I have worked with diverse groups. Initially, I was a forensic social worker, helping adults referred for counseling by the courts. From 2010 to 2018, I worked in Manhattan with teenagers and families in foster care, providing assessments and treatment plans. Since 2018, I have been a school social worker in elementary schools. I have also supervised and trained many interns.
My roles have given me insight into many lives, and I approach my work without judgment, using evidence-based practices. I have been fortunate to receive ongoing training in the latest social work methods and to collaborate with other mental health professionals.
